Melissa Crain graduated from Sonoma State University in 2007 with a bachelor of art in physics with a concentration in astronomy. She took a special interest in optics and for the last few years has focused her creative and professional energy on becoming a photographer.

Melissa has worked in the industry shooting weddings, fashion and portraiture. Her passions are nature and abstract photography.

Melissa has been a web design engineer by profession since 2004, working for WebPex.com, Inc. An entrepreneur at heart, Melissa also runs a web design business, New Skin Media, that is an active member of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce. As an industry expert, she is also a member of the Media and Communications Advisory Committee for the Regional Occupational Program (ROP), a part of the Sonoma County Office of Education assisting teachers with keeping their advanced curriculums up to date.
